The Structural Engineers Association of California has awarded a 2011 Structural Engineering Excellence Award to Louie International for the seismic retrofit, alteration and expansion of a series of buildings now known as 1 Kearny Street, in San Francisco. The project involves a new 11-story building, structurally tied to two historic structures from different eras. Leslyn Tsugawa, Louie International’s newest Associate, received the award at the SEAOC convention. Navin Amin was our Design Principal.
